1. About Us & Application of Terms

• All courses, trainings, workshops, mentoring programs, and educational services offered by Ayurveda Wisdom School

2. Educational Nature of the Course
2.1 The Certificate in Ayurvedic Wellness Consulting is an educational and professional development program focused on Ayurvedic lifestyle principles, self-care, and wellness education.
2.2 This course:

• Is not a nationally recognised qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
• Does not lead to registration as a medical, allied health, or regulated health practitioner
• Does not provide authority to diagnose, treat, cure, or prescribe for disease

2.3 Content is provided for general wellness education only and must not be interpreted as medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

3. Scope of Practice – Ayurvedic Wellness Consultant (Australia)
Graduates of this course may work only within the following non-medical scope:
Permitted Activities
An Ayurvedic Wellness Consultant may:

• Educate clients about core Ayurvedic principles and philosophy
• Assess Ayurvedic constitution (Prakriti) and observe lifestyle imbalances (Vikriti) from a wellness perspective
• Provide general lifestyle guidance, including:
  • Daily and seasonal routines (Dinacharya & Ritucharya)
  • Basic nutrition education and food principles
  • Use of common culinary herbs and spices for general well-being
  • Gentle, non-therapeutic cleansing and rejuvenation practices
• Teach Ayurvedic concepts in classes, workshops, retreats, or educational settings
• Support wellbeing through non-clinical, preventative, and educational approaches
• Refer clients to registered health professionals when appropriate

Prohibited Activities
Graduates must not:

• Diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions
• Prescribe, dispense, or recommend restricted herbal medicines or therapeutic substances
• Alter, advise on, or interfere with prescribed medications or medical treatment
• Claim to cure disease or replace medical care
• Represent themselves as a registered health practitioner
• Provide services outside Australian legal and regulatory boundaries

3.3 Graduates are solely responsible for:

• Practising ethically and lawfully
• Using appropriate titles such as “Ayurvedic Wellness Consultant” or “Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counsellor”
• Ensuring clients understand the educational, non-medical nature of their services

4. Student Responsibilities
4.1 Students agree to:

• Participate respectfully and professionally
• Use course materials for personal education or permitted professional use only
• Practise within the defined scope outlined above
• Seek medical advice for themselves where appropriate
• Maintain confidentiality of shared case discussions and group learning

4.2 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for behaviour that is unsafe, unethical, or inconsistent with the values of the school.

5. Course Delivery & Changes
5.1 Courses may be delivered online, live, recorded, or via blended learning.
5.2 We may:

• Update content to reflect best practice
• Substitute facilitators if required
• Reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances
• Move live sessions online if necessary

5.3 Completion requirements (attendance, assessments, mentoring participation) must be met to receive a Certificate of Completion.

6. Fees, Payments & Refund Policy
6.1 All fees are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
6.2 Enrolment is confirmed only once payment is received.
6.3 Refunds:

• A 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of purchase, provided no more than 20% of the course content has been accessed
• No refunds are available after the cooling-off period unless required under Australian Consumer Law
• If we cancel the course, a full refund or credit will be offered

6.4 Mentoring sessions are non-transferable and must be used within the 12-month mentoring period.

7. Intellectual Property & Course Use
7.1 All course materials, including manuals, videos, worksheets, slides, and resources, are protected by copyright.
7.2 Students may:

• Use materials for personal learning
• Use tools with clients where permitted, without reproducing or reselling content

7.3 Students may not:

• Share, copy, sell, or distribute materials
• Record sessions without written permission
• Use materials to train others without consent

8. Privacy Policy
8.1 We collect personal information only for enrolment, course delivery, mentoring, and communication.
8.2 Information is stored securely and not shared with third parties except where required by law.

9. Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk

10. Limitation of Liability

11. Marketing & Media

Refund Policy

Ayurveda Wisdom School is committed to providing high-quality educational programs while maintaining fair and transparent refund practices. Please read this Refund Policy carefully before enrolling.
1. General Principles
1.1 By enrolling in any course or program offered by Ayurveda Wisdom School, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions.
1.2 All fees are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
1.3 This policy is designed to be compliant with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Cooling-Off Period
2.1 A 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of purchase.
2.2 During this period, students may request a refund provided that no more than 20% of the course content has been accessed, including:

• Online training modules
• E-learning materials
• Downloadable manuals or resources
• Recorded sessions

2.3 Refund requests made within the cooling-off period must be submitted in writing via email.

3. Refunds After the Cooling-Off Period
3.1 No refunds are available once the 14-day cooling-off period has expired.
3.2 No refunds will be issued for:

• Change of mind
• Personal circumstances
• Scheduling conflicts
• Failure to complete the course
• Partial participation or non-attendance

3.3 Mentoring sessions are non-transferable and must be used within the stated 12-month mentoring period. Unused sessions are forfeited and not refundable.

4. Course Access & Digital Content
4.1 This program includes immediate access to digital materials and intellectual property.
4.2 Once substantial access has occurred, refunds cannot be offered except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

5. Course Cancellation or Changes by Us
5.1 If Ayurveda Wisdom School cancels a course or program:

• Students will be offered a full refund or
• The option to transfer enrolment to a future intake or an alternative program

5.2 We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course content, delivery format, facilitators, or scheduling. Such changes do not entitle students to a refund.

6. Exceptional Circumstances
6.1 Refunds outside this policy are considered only where required under Australian Consumer Law.
6.2 Any discretionary refunds granted are at the sole discretion of Ayurveda Wisdom School and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
