An Ayurvedic Wellness Consultant may:
- Educate clients about core Ayurvedic principles and philosophy
- Assess Ayurvedic constitution (Prakriti) and observe lifestyle imbalances (Vikriti) from a wellness perspective
- Provide general lifestyle guidance, including:
- Daily and seasonal routines (Dinacharya & Ritucharya)
- Basic nutrition education and food principles
- Use of common culinary herbs and spices for general well-being
- Gentle, non-therapeutic cleansing and rejuvenation practices
- Teach Ayurvedic concepts in classes, workshops, retreats, or educational settings
- Support wellbeing through non-clinical, preventative, and educational approaches
- Refer clients to registered health professionals when appropriate
Graduates must not:
- Diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions
- Prescribe, dispense, or recommend restricted herbal medicines or therapeutic substances
- Alter, advise on, or interfere with prescribed medications or medical treatment
- Claim to cure disease or replace medical care
- Represent themselves as a registered health practitioner
- Provide services outside Australian legal and regulatory boundaries
- Practising ethically and lawfully
- Using appropriate titles such as “Ayurvedic Wellness Consultant” or “Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counsellor”
- Ensuring clients understand the educational, non-medical nature of their services
4. Student Responsibilities
4.1 Students agree to:
- Participate respectfully and professionally
- Use course materials for personal education or permitted professional use only
- Practise within the defined scope outlined above
- Seek medical advice for themselves where appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality of shared case discussions and group learning
5. Course Delivery & Changes
5.1 Courses may be delivered online, live, recorded, or via blended learning.
5.2 We may:
- Update content to reflect best practice
- Substitute facilitators if required
- Reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances
- Move live sessions online if necessary
6. Fees, Payments & Refund Policy
